No, it is not okay. It is very high and your first priority should be to consult his doctor in order to bring his blood sugar to acceptable levels.

Is your father type 1, 2 or LADA (1.5)? Is he on medication? Does he use insulin? Has your father been told to count carbs for each meal and snack? Does he have an exercise routine?
