Please give me a simple veg diet for high sugar. My stomach is very weak so I can't digest heavy food. Thanks!

vegetarian diet is itself light and good. have lots of veggies and dals, for weak stomach what i personally do is avoid masalas and ghee. I cook my food in haldi , salt and chilles only no extra masala added

What do you mean by weak stomach?

Well. To increase appetite and digestive power:

1) Use the zinger strips + lemon juice and black salt half an hour before each meal. Chew zinger well.

2) Use the zinger juice and add a little honey to mask the pungent taste. Do this for three times a day on an empty stomach.

3) Use the zinger powder, jaggery and ghee. Make small laddus and eat three or four times a day. If you have jain friends they make these laddus adding black pepper and nutmeg powders into it.

4) Try to keep your bowels clean. Take gentle laxatives like isabgul. Can take lactulose ( duphalac syp )10 - 15 ml at night.

Using Zinger and its powder are the best appetizers. They also help in digestion.

Take Amul Probiotic lassi sugar free. Even if it's not sugar free, I think it contains only 8g sugar. Take once in a day before 5 pm.

I don't know how you make methi paratha.

What is malik roti.

Well as a general rule count the carb content of the ingredients. Take help of net. Millets are better than wheat but not much better. Know the gi gl of the ingredients. Take in the amounts that comply with lchf concept.

Onion also contain carb. Raw onion not to be taken in large quantity. Can be used in cooking in routine manner.

Lasan very good. I take it liberally roasted with liberal amt of ghee or oil. Can be eaten raw or fried if tolerated well. Single clove garlic is very good. Better than multi-clover variety, but causes gastrointestinal upset and diarrhea.

Is it asaram garlic or onion asaram garlic?

I beg to differ. Idly and rava both are high carbs. Rava is coarsely grinded grains.

"Semolina is the coarse, purified wheat middlings of durum wheat used in making pasta, breakfast cereals, puddings, and couscous. The term semolina is also used to designate coarse middlings from other varieties of wheat, and from other grains, such as rice and maize." So better avoided. Or calculate total carb you take in a day.

I am not a DIETICIAN.

I am a VEGETARIAN.

My suggestion would be,

(a) Well steamed Toor Dal or Small Dal (paste with little salt and of course Haldi is always good)

(b) Plain fresh curds (ensure that it is not sour)

(c) Watermelon fruit or juice without sugar

I have consumed the above without adding much carbs,

In the mornings, I start with warm water 2 glasses (not HOT....just warm). That also helps I guess.

I beg to differ a bit.

1) A little sour curd because you can mix in the sour curd instead of sugar since there is lactic acid. So no rise in bs.

2) Any fruit better than juice. Water melon has high gi of 71, but low gl. So you can eat, no juice please, but in small quantities taking care of gl.

Just to clarify,

I did NOT say that Sour curd increases BS.

What I experienced was, sour curd has a tendency to create acid that (sometimes) cause irritations in intestines.

Seems like Sunila has some stomach problems and I dont want Sunila to end up getting into other issues.

Grateful to all those who provide very valuable information in this forum.

If I may add,

Well cooked Methi leaves (with small Dal) or Mokoi leaves will give a good relief and soften the intestines much.

However, you should take this continuously for few days.

There are recipes available in the net for preparations.

eat any thing except carrot (i did nt take ) and beat root dring veg soup ( any veg soup ) drink more juice dont get panic fight back give a fitting replay to your disease it is like a bad guest at home kick him out have faith in yourself all the best.
