My name Pauly Ogu. My doctor recently started me on diabetes medications after carrying out some blood sugar tests. I strongly believe there is a real conspiracy between doctors and the pharmaceutical industries who make their money not from curative medications, but from condition-management medications. So, I started browsing for information and came across this wonderful site.

For the information about medication, what did your doctor suggest? Are you type 1, 2 or LADA (1.5)? Are you counting carbs for the meals and snacks?

Anti-diabetic market in India is around Rs. 4500 crores.(Rs.45 billion). If there is drug monopoly, the price of that particular drug will not be reduced even if the production cost is lower. Each one will get the share of the profit. Some drugs are sold at a lower price than the market retail price printed in the package.
