BLOOD SUGAR
According to you the Fasting 134 tells that you are a diabetic and medicine should be taken for sure please consult your doctor for this. And try to take your dinner before 7 p.m. and have a small walk after the dinner this will help you in reducing Fasting blood sugar.
Hi Zodiacmanu & how are you?
How long have you been diagnosed with diabetes? Are you Type 2 or 1? Did your doctor concern with your HbA1c 6.5%? BTW, how do you normally control your blood sugar?
In fact 6.5% A1c is not bad for a diabetic. However, many diabetics on this forum suggest or prefer to lower the A1c as closely as non-diabetics which is less than 5.7% in order to avoid complications. You can achieve this with lifestyle changes (low carbs diet and regular exercise) with or without medication. It is really up to you how do you want to control your BSL. Before making changes of anything, please check with your doctor as particular diet may not suitable to everyone particularly if you have other health issues other than diabetes.
This is in diabetic range only. I feel that with care on food intake, avoiding sugar and with exercise, you can bring it under control.
No need of medicine. You can maintain bs through diet only. There are so many members on this forum . Do read some older post.
Try to maintain fasting blood sugar (FBS) below 100 mg/dL.
