Changing medicine

I have been taking janumet 50/500 for 1 month...I find it too expensive and I'm not able to afford it my doctor is not ready to change the medicine. Can I take glicen mf m1 instead of janumet?

My A1c was 12% when I came to know I have diabetes. But now my sugar level are almost normal since I started taking janumet. My fasting is 115 and pp is 160

Glenmark has Zita Met 50/500 which costs 50% of Janumet. Your doctor should be okay with this as it is same medicine from another reputed brand.

Note: I am not doctor.

Yes it can be taken alternatively as the combination is same
