I have again been advised :i)jANUMET-50/1000=TWICE A DAY; ii)Amyril-2 = before breakfast; iii)Pioglitz-30=after lunch iv)Hum-R-30units=twice and v)Hum-M-30/70=at dinner. Still my fasting level is 370+. Can you help.
As little as possible. So much so that I feel hungry at 2am and have to eat something to be able to sleep, or else I keep tossing and turning.

4 marie biscutes for tea, 2slices of brown bread and 2 eggs for break fast(something fried once or twice a week), a handfull of rice and dall or one veg. curry to go with it, at lunch. Again tea and biscuits at 6pm and for dinner: One chappati(medium sized) and one veg. No in betweens- believe me. Height 5' 10" weight 120.
Anup, you have been very kind, and thank you for advising me. I am in a "Catch 22" situation.Last December was hospitalized for COPD,they brought down the sugar to 100/150 and started insulin 12:12:20.They gave me lots to eat, rice chappaties, veg etc as per dietitian. But at home levels shot within a month. I am still breathless, ankles twisted due to Posterior Tibial Tendonitis last 4yrs,walking is out.I am told insulin 30:30:35 + the tabs are putting on weight.Retired VRS at 55 and single with positive attitude I am home with no friends, i.e.no 'physical' activity of any sort!!
