Hello,

I have type 2 diabete type since 1 year.35 old. I lost 27% of my weight . My bmi is 19. I do bodybuilding too. I do not take any medication. My fasting glycemia between 4.4 and 5.2 mmol. But I remain very sensitive to carbohydrates and sugars. As soon as I eat carbohydrates or sugars my glycemia rises quickly. Yesterday I ate 2 slices of pizza and 2 hours after 7.5mmol. How we can explain it. It is the lack of insulin or it is resistance to insulin. What is your opinion. Thank you for answering me.

Your FBS and PPBS are normal. FBS should be less than 5.6 mmol/L. PPBS should be less than 7.8 mmol/L.

I have the same issues and did an Endobiogenic blood test. It shows that both: low insulin and high insulin resistance. However it is a bit more complex than that. Relatively low adrenal function and ability to respond to stress as well as low thyroid output are all contributory functions. So making sure you get good sleep, do regular excercise and use an adrenal restorative and thyroid support also helps. For example Ashwagandha and seaweeds help here.

For t2d it's not insulin deficiency but high insulin levels and insulin resistant

It can actually be both as high cortisol can also block insulin secretion.

Cortisol active glucolysis from liver. Than active insulin. It does not block insulin secretion

Cortisol doesn't block insulin secretion. It raises bs levels by neoglucogenesis.
