Known for its health benefits for 2000 years in China and Japan, Shirataki is made from the root of a plant called the Konnyaku Imo ,so,it is not rice actually but Shirataki is made only from the soluble fiber of the plant, as such it only contains a healthy soluble fiber known as Glucomannan. Since it is only made of soluble fiber, it is remarkably low In Calorie and also other nutrients (0 % carb too ) but it is so costly one fails to see its value!

This is a man made product! there is noodles a well.

IN super market today one can buy shopped up veg, sold as rice. This is fresh can be steamed or fried in butter or olive oil.

What we know as rice has carb, is has many good properties.

Shirataki rice is a healthy option. It is made from konjac root which is originally found in Asia and is enriched with a fiber called glucomannan, a natural, water-soluble fiber. Glucomannan has many types of health benefits that are helpful in preventing many chronic diseases. Not only this, Konjac has many health benefits which help in keeping the intestines healthy. To make it, just rinse shirataki rice and boil it for one whistle. In this way, it becomes ready immediately.

Shirataki rice is a good option for Diabetes patients. If you are thinking of what to eat in rice or roti in your diabetic diet then you can go for Shirataki rice. This is very healthy for Diabetes patients.
