Hi all, hope everyone is safe. Recently heard about this programme called twin health from a friend. Seems it promises reversal of Type 2 and he says he is off medication now. Anyone tried it? Thanks.

What is twin health?

I believe it's a consultancy based programme with a panel of doctors including a diabetlogist who study your glucose patterns and create a digital twin and monitor the sugar levels over a period of time and slowly take you off meds. Wanted to know if anyone here tried it. Pls google it for more info. Looks promising.

None of those things which promised happened. I have registered for this and I am in the 9th month now. I paid for 1 year upfront, but after the initial quarter, the support levels drastically reduced. I was diligently following their diet restriction, but the app and the AI based digital twin were not adding much value. They said certain supplements and medicines will be provided. But the delivery was constantly getting delayed. Every quarter they committed to take blood test and arrange a doctor consultation. I had to follow up a lot and there were lot of delays in them responding to this. Coach was almost helpless and not empowered to provide you the required support. Back end team is pathetic and so the execution is not up to the mark. Frustrated, I asked to discontinue and refund for the fourth quarter - they said the policy does not allow them to refund. Be careful before falling into this trap. LCHF or Keto Diet is what the app recommends. These recommendations are available in other places at much lesser cost. We need not pay premium price to just have an app with the Keto foods listed (not even personalized) and follow these restrictions.

Oh dear, that's disappointing. If what they are recommending is keto or low carb, tons of info is available on the net and we are better off with Dr.Berg and Jason who are excellent. Thanks for sharing. Stay healthy and safe.

I have had a similar experience, I am only in my second month, but highly disillusioned. They are unable to answer one’s questions.. The coaches and doctors seem to have very little experience. And keep on shunting you from one to the other instead of answering the questions. Thanks.

Its a twin program of Dr consultation and a webinar. It costs only Rs99 it seems as per the website twinhealth.com. No harm trying perhaps!!!

Hi all,I have been on Twin program 1 year and 4 months.

I am 51 now and off Medicines for more than an year.

I am not active on this forum, however in the past observed a lot of debate on LCHF and Long wheat diets etc.

This triggered me to check on High fat diet with my Endocrinologist who I revisited after 4 years of Glucobay M50.

I saw a twin ad in his clinic and from there.... been more than an year.

I cannot go in detail here.

It works to sustain without medicines. Full reversal, yet to see.

Overall, it works..

Diet has major role and family support is required here...

Awareness of this condition is greatly enhanced. It is not a deep mystery now.

If feasible, go ahead. Not sure if all cities have it..

Health is imp.

You have do your search.

Reach me if you have any questions after your study. Imp that you should study the subject first...

Regards

Thanks DKR_108, that's good to know. You're right it's available only in the US and India, which makes it inaccessible for me, let me write to them and see. Stay safe.

Hi,

Very expensive!, may be going on a life style change and regular exercise is a good way to control blood glucose?

Oh I heard from this person who took the programme that it was less, maybe they hiked it. I tried sending a message on the site but it wasn't going through. Also wonder why they need company details? As if unemployed and retirees don't get diabetes.

Do not go for full year payment. If you want to try, start with a quarter. They may promise incentives (discounts etc.) if you pay for full year. Say NO. Pay for a quarter, and see whether it works out. Mostly it will not.
