I am 71 years old and very very health conscious. I prefer home medicine first, second Ayurvedic, at last Allopathy as last resort. First of all I control my health by my eating habits, second walking and exercise.

Are you type 1, 2 or LADA(1.5)? What type of food and exercise are you doing (along with walking)?

I do gardening and table tennis. I love the garden and being with nature nurtures me. I walk on the beach and watch the gulls and other sea birds. Two lovely swans there on the water on Friday in the beautiful sun. It makes you feel good to be alive, appreciative and very lucky with what is going on in the world and all around. I am at peace there with myself and my maker - connected if you like and this is so important for me - may be not for others, I can only speak for me.

This sounds very peaceful. I go on the beach in the Summer for a week and get some relaxation and exercise. It really helps the blood sugars! Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I am, but don't get me wrong - I have bad days and suffer just like the rest, but I do my best to find out why and adapt to suit my body and most of all I ask the universal energies for help all the time! I could go to my doctor, but I know they do not understand my body and any help would just be invasive, toxic and traumatic that would make my body worse. I am a sensitive soul living in the wrong times for my body - whether there is ever a right time for the human race I don't know.

Your age is fixed by your creator. However eating habits and daily exercise is very helpful. Our forefathers used to say that a man digs his grave by his teeth. It is very very true even today. Good luck.

Same here - every action has a reaction and allopathic medicine certainly reacts with me. Natural is best if possible - good diet, exercise, correct sleep amount, posture, stress management, meditations, good company as well as time alone to reflect - all so important and more including getting out in the sunshine for vitamin D - I never sit in the sun though - keep moving and whilst moving we discharge especially important in these times of mass technology and high level of EMF's.
