My fasting level is 140 & the pp is 175. How can the hba1c be 5.7?

If yes, then your Hba1c does not correlate with your bs levels.

Go for one more test, and also ask for OGTT. It looks like you are pre diabetic. Generally, for non-diebetics, the FBS sugar will never cross 110 and PPBs never cross 140.

Hba1c gives the average value of 90 days and 6 and below is very good control, the reading which you have shown may be one time measurement.
