Hi,

i got a doubt after reading below words..-

"you have to check liver and intestine are functioning well. in short , there should be no constipation. If there is constipation then you have to clear this problem first instead of consuming bitter herbs like neem powder or bitter gourd."

WHAT IS CONNECTION WITH BITTER GOURD CONSUMING AND LIVER AND INTESTINE FUNCTIONING..?

IF WE TAKE BITTER GOURD WITH OUT KNOWING, HOW LIVER AND ETC., FUNCTIONING LEVEL.. IS IT LEADS ANY PROBLEM???

Judge how much carbohydrate he is eating using this link diabetes.org.uk/documents/c...

Lower his intake of carbohydrate to about 40g at each of three meals per day (120g total).

If he then needs more calories to prevent or slow weight loss, he should obtain them from natural fat.

Nobody disputes that activity is vital to life for improving or maintaining cardiovascular health for example. However, athletes including Steve Redgrave and Tim Noakes became diabetic despite all of their exercise.

Controlling carbohydrate intake is the way to manage the condition.

With medicine as usual, he can take water in the morning soaking two bhindis (Ladys finger) cut into three pieces in a half glass of water at night. Measure the sugar level after 15 days.

Restrict Carb from all sources to be 100 to 120 grams in a day.Follow LCHF i.e 20% carb20% protins and 60% good fat.See the link given by Concerned. Thanks.

Have a doubt... 120 gms of Carbo -- is this cooked weight!

Besides the suggestions given by other members, he should start 15-20 minutes walk after dinner, if not doing already. This would reduce fasting sugar. Try it.
