Diabetic vision blur?

My average blood sugar came down from 250 to 126 (11.6% to 6.0%) but the blur remains. It is less than before but varies i.e. increases and reduces that I can not correlate with changes in blood sugar level. Wonder if the blur is irreversible and this current variance normal at A1C 6.0%?

@norreal If you bring down your BS levels to what Meetu77 has mentioned then only there are chances of recovery if the cause is diabetic neuropathy. If any other reason then you need to check with eye specialist. Now days what BS levels are treated as normal, is the cause of most of the complications.

Shrisamarth: Does Diabetic Neuropathy normally only affect eyes? (In other words would indication of neuropathy not be obvious elsewhere?)

depends from people to people. different people different symptoms pop up first. for me it was my feet given indication. some people eye, others extreme hunger, more urination, thirst etc. i don't have any scientific explanation. This is the experience of D people.

@norreal Most common problems of diabetic neuropathy are related to feet and eyes.

I too use external keypad. However, mysteriously it improves when I run a full McAfee scan. Last scan on November 6 is old! I will just run the scan now..

For all diabetics, eye specialist recommends bs level strictly under control to avoid problems of retinopathy, glaucoma etc.

@norreal- One reason for the blurred vision in spite of good BG control is diabetic retinopathy . In my case I had macular edema though my BG control was fair to good pre-lchf.But I continue to have the problem of blurred vision due to macular edema even after laser treatment , cataract surgery and good BG control .Please check with your ophthalmologist who is the best person to help you out
