How to gain weight as a diabetic?

I am 6 feet and was weighing 74 Kg when I got diagnosed for T2 two months back.Now I am on diet control but loosing wt.Now i am 71 Kg. BG is under control.Taking metformin once a day. How to gain weight while on diet control ?please suggest

Suggest eating more healthy natural, non man manufactured fat like butter, cheese, meat etc. Or if vegetarian nuts, avocado, olive oil etc

Improper diet control will cause weight loss. Dr.M.V, Prasad's exercise-diet regimen will maintain/increase muscles, weight & health. I know such a diabetic in my neighbourhood.

As per you height of 6 feet The weight range is

Men - 73 to 78

Women - 67 to 74.

Based on the above assuming you come under Women category you are not underweight if you weigh 71kg. It is better if you come to 67.

you have mentioned you are under diet control. See to that you don't deprive your body essential Nutrition which is required for normal function of your organs. Instead of Diet control try Cellular Nutrition.
