Hi frnds. Actually my mom is a diabetic patient. Her sugar levels are in range only. But the prob is she is having loose motions very oftenly. She went to so many doctors. But it's not in control. Can u people help us.

Sugar levels within range are in all likelihood down to medicines like Metformin etc. She needs to change what has got her to where she is now. Her diet has wrecked her health and medicines are not the answer. Change her diet in line with my last post and her condition will improve or go here:

Hi .just want to tell you that my mum had the same issue. Was hospitalised but did not help.after doctor was changed was diagnosed as infection in urinary tract. After which the problem went away.

you may get thyroid function tested. I had same type of problem

I lost 15 kg of weight. Body itching. Urging for stool many times in a day. Loose motion. un controllable urge for motion. Doubted diabetes. But it was not. Tested thyroid. First lab indicated negative . Second lab Positive. Did a thirdd test.Results positive. It was hyperthyroidism. Immediately started. Improvement noticed in a month. in a year of treatment every thing got normal.

I am not in a position to answer " stomach caused thyroid or thyroid caused stomach"

Yes. in my case first lab gave -ve and second +ve. Then I preferred a third test, which was +ve. i started treatment with out any delay

Please check whether this is due to acidity/gastric trouble.If so ask her to consume some antacid after dinner or she can have kokam juice/KOKAM AGAL concentrate of kokam fruit with water or/Amla juice with water for reducing acidity and start digestion.
