My wife is in the starting stage of Diabetics(before 3 months). She doesnot want to go for allopathic medication and can we have a suggestion either how to control through disciplined food habits or with homoeopathic permanant cure(as I heard from my collegues). Please advise.

In the name of your chosen deity, pray to it/them, for it will have exactly the same effect.

There is homeopathy, and there is a homeopathic permanent cure.

There is a difference - none!

However, if you embrace the dark side 'control through disciplined food habits' you will crack the problem:

forums.dlife.in/ (for your culture) or for the wider issue:

One can control diabetes with good food habits AND regular physical exertions like Gym, walk or yoga. Medicines only help you to hammer down blood sugar shooting up temporarily for matter of hours.

Start of with homeopathic medicine with proper constitutional remedy and follow it with walking for 15 minutes daily stretched to half hour at least over a slow period of time. Parallel y let the usual intake of starchy food be reduced to 75% level and craving for sweets lessened to a good extent at least during the first few months. Iam sure your wife will have better control.

All depends on what is the status of your wife's diabetes when detected recently. If her numbers (FPBS, PPBS, HBA1C and triglycerides) are very high, she should tread carefully. Again, whether she is prepared for drastic changes in food and lifestyle is very important. First, put her on a strict diet (if willing) and lifestyle, mainly cutting down carbohydrate and adding some good fats to compensate (see the experience of people in this forum). Chances are that the numbers may fall along with improvement in triglycerides. If not, and the numbers are not falling down, have some allopathic drug (preferably metformin only) to control it to reasonable level and then try to wean away the drug gradually.

First know the status of D of your wife. Get basic investigations done. Know her bcf and ir. Also thyroid status. Then plan the treatment. Don't keep grudge for allopathy medicines. Bs control is more important. But first treatment is diet control. Many here follow lchf diet. Get reports done first.

Is LCHF advisable during pregnancy???

No. Pregnancy is a different physiological state where there are two different individuals and we have to take care of both. The second one is taken care of through the first one. Mother is D but the foetus not. Hypos are not allowed and pregnancy is a stress producing condition. Metabolism is different than in non pregnant state. The normal sugar levels for a pregnant women is slighly higher than the nonpreg women. The beauty of treatment of D pregnant women lie in fact that hypo and hyper both are dangerous. Hypo can kill foetus in utero and hyper causes fetal hyper insulinemia which kills the foetus soon after delivery by causing severe hypo if not taken care of.

hmmm in general in order to avoid gestational diabetes is it recommended to go for low carbs??? case if girl is already with high IR may land up in higher sugar level.... that may cause hyper insulinemia.

on other hand even if due to IR she lands up with higher sugar level....guess SU will again produce same results....

So going low carbs is good???

Bade bhaiya. Kyu itna complicate kar rahe ho matter ko??!!🐒🐒

GD is a condition found during pregnancy. In these patients stress of pregnancy unfolds diabetes. They are not D in nonpregnant state. The priority then is to protect both mother and fetus. More concern about fetus because high bs in the mother for a period of 9 odd months are not going to create any havoc to her. Many of us are hyperglycemic for years before getting detected for D. But there are grave complications in fetus due to hypo or hyper state. So treat the GD with dietary management and drugs.

yes. Because fetus is also utilizing sugar. That's why bs values esp in D under drugs should be a little higher. There must not be hypo at any stage. It causes growth retardation if not death.

Dear Sir,

I think there is no chance to cure permanently. But we can control Diabetes with our diet, healthy habits and positive attitude.

With all these I suggest Herbal Medicine for Diabetes called "Madhucure Juice" it is completely Ayurveda Medicine for diabetes.

It's main advantages are

Reduce Stress | Promote Sound Sleep | Cures Constipation | Gives Strength | Corrects Indigestion

Dear friend,

So far my knowledge goes Homoeopathy cannot afford anypermanent cure for DIABETES. Asthma, epilipsy, hepatitis A, Chyluria, piles etc are easily amneble to Homoeopathy. At best by taking homoeopthic medicines you can delay in taking allopathic medicines for a few years. I have experience of 33 years of practice. Moreover, I am a Govt Doctor treating lakhs of patients for various ailments. I am also having 17 years of teaching experience and already published 3 books (ISBN).

I think that the best thing is to monitor her status every 6 months , to know her rate of fasting glucose and HbA1C test..

The priority to control measures are Exercise, Food and in the last resort drugs.

Cutting weight by 10 % may retard the onset of a fully blown diabetes.. Exercise as brisk walking, jogging or swimming half an hour a day is more important than diet...Check first with doctor before engaging in sport activities.. Is her heart good?..etc...

Lower down carbs, .sugar and fats.

Some foods as oats, bittergourd ,cinnamon powder may help naturally..

Replace bread by wholewheat pasta. .. but watch portions.. 50 grams per serving..eat more lentils, red kidney beans and other pulses...salads with little olive oil and sliced tomatoes are welcome..Also fish and lean cuts of meat and breast chicken are best for protein needs.

Controlling blood sugar (glucose) levels is the major goal of diabetes treatment, in order to prevent complications of the disease. So firstly it is important to make a strict diet plan. Choose foods that are lower in calories, saturated fat, trans fat, sugar, and salt. Eat foods with more fiber. Type 2 diabetes may be managed with non-insulin medications, insulin, weight reduction, or dietary changes. The choice of medications for type 2 diabetes is individualized, taking into account: The effectiveness and side effect profile of each medication & the patient's underlying health status. Following are some homeopathic medicines for diabetes : (Please consult a certified homeopathic doctor before having any of these) - Uranium nitrate. [Uran] , Phosphorus. [Phos] , Lactic acid. [Lact] , Bryonia. [Bry] to name a few.
