You mean to say that Protinex and Threptin should be avoided?

in reply toZAKH

Please avoid as they will have added sugar

Better take paneer, cheese, sprouts, milk etc or even mushroom if possible

eggs are easy to cook and have most of the vitamins and minerals ...with added advantage of having very less carbs ...curd, cheese and dry fruits are other easy to handle protein sources ...rather than protein supplements , as it can contain soy protein...which is not good to take regularily

Perfect advice by karch.

Better to take natural prots.

Dry fruits like almond and walnut also contain dha very much required for the development of fetal brain

Thank you all for your valuable advises.

You will get better quality proteins by taking variety. Crushed almonds, cashew and almonds with milk and honey, send Dana in day.  Lot of watana, usal, misal, two eggs daily, Paneer,  palak and Bajra roti. Eat Kabuli chana and chow li. Fish will be good also alongwith chicken and Red meat. Baby needs iron, lots. Don't get anemic.

If you need very fair baby with best brain,  eat fresh coconut. Lots and daily.

He he....Dadi maa k nuskhe ;)

BTW I read somewhere we have to consume limited amount of fish during pregnancy as mercury levels are above threshold in some types of fishes...so sea food and fish in limited amount is advisable

he he..none of the brands are reliable...when festivals come, all have their adulterated counterparts available in market ...they dont have any label of antibiotic free or hormone free like in developed countries...even if is mentioned for a particular brand that it is antibiotic/hormone free...there are no measures or QC or labs which approve the same in India....get a cow ...feed the cow organic green grass if you want to have more milk than 2 glasses/day and stay healthy...in villages people do that and enjoy 1-2 kg of milk in day and stay healthy  :)
