Our ancient Indians for more than 2500 years ago have followed the teachings of Charak and Shushrutha. They decided the diet in India should be lacto vegetarian and such diet was followed for several centuries. Unfortunately, India is been driven by western culture and that influenced in discarding ghee and coconut oil. Instead, the unsaturated fatty acid oils were introduced.

The treatment of diabetes, heart disease and cancer is not in the hospital but in your kitchen. The emphasis in on nutrition as it is the primary tool to combat the epidemic of diabetes. If the community is trained on the basis on nutrition and virtues of good eating habits it will have a long term rewarding results. Change over to traditional cooking media such as ghee and coconut oil and staying away from fast food and junk food is important.

Some of the things you write is not relevant.still, the persons you mentioned is not the same. But I can tell you why asked you about No to diabetes. Both of you have the same emblem. I will not stretch this unnecessary discussion.

Btw you already know it is my hobby to prepare psychological profile of persons I like. For this I need as much information as I can get from any source though it is not easy. It is for my own personal satisfaction.

Yours as well as that of No to diabete, the avatar has been shown the same, perhaps by mistake. It is now corrected. Hence confusion. Sorry for that.

I am also a voracious reader of wide range of topics. But my memory is not as used to be. After all a decade separates you from me.

I am at loss what to say. I don't want to go into caste or creed discussion. Many of those things fail to make sense.please don't waste time on these petty matters. You are are a very constructive person and you have greatly enriched our knowledge by very informative posts. My best wishes to you.@rajivrao

Even grondnnut oil and til oil were used extensively .even as` recent 45 years back . The onset of refined oils` , where` many good nutritional values are lost in the processing could be an important cause of the` widespread of` diabetes.
