Reducing insulin dose is a good option. How is your post dinner sugar level?Since you cannot decide how much to reduce, better to have a word with your doctor.

There is nothing wrong with you . It is normal to have low blood sugar between 3-5 AM.

Can u elaborate why morning 3-5 Am only for liver dumping and this symptoms noticed . Is it possible if we starving more than 8 or 10 hours without consuming anything and also at any time maybe possible . It may be more chances for DM persons

Dear tsms and patliputra, Please check out on the post by indiacratus 7 days ago before concluding that everything is fine with those who get frequent hypo episodes.

Dear Sugu, first of all 80 is not hypo. The blood sugar are at the lowest during 3-5 AM of every individual diabetic or otherwise. He has not mentioned that he gets frequent hypo ,or hypo during other times. So please try to understand things before commenting on others post.

Patliputra it is OK with me if you do not like comments on what you write. That is perfectly OK with me. But I still hold my views w r t your statement "there is nothing wrong with you" If tsms has to get up due to some discomfort and has to take biscuits to get normal he has some problem there. Indiacratus says that marginal hypo even unnoticed by the patient can lead to problems. I hope tsms will read the post by indiacratus and make his own judgement on my comments.

Sugu, you are perfectly within your rights to hold an independent view, and I always honour that right as long as it doesn't become judgemental.

I am firm on what I have said and let Mr. tsms provide details of his condition with blood sugar readings at different times, so that the matter could no cleared.

It is due to insufficient dinner taken previous night or otherwise you should have increased the units for first time which resulted Hypo during 3 to 4 am in the early morning. Better to be safe during night time and adjust your dinner accordingly.

Yes Anup. I am a testimony to the emerging school of thought that diet and physical activity are the primary line of treatment and drugs come in if the former fails. It was more than two years ago that I detected diabetics with very high numbers. I switched my diet immediately and kept the tablets given to me by the doctor with me with an intension to swallow then if required. I tamed my blood sugar in a month and never had to use those drugs. I continue to to be < 6 a1c and my pp and random are equally good and within non diabetic range. My only problem is erratic fasting blood sugar, probably due to dawn phenomenon. Fbs is yet to be tamed. Sometimes, I go to bed with 100 blood sugar and get up with something between 100 and 110. This has nothing to do with dinner as I do not take any cereals at night. I take only vegetable soup (prepared at home).

Have you any solution to this Anup?

Thanks Anup. aswagandha in lehyam form ? or is there tablets ? I am asking bcz there is jaggery in lehyam

Agreed your opinion Doctors cannot possible to check all the patients how much eat and how much doses of drugs are consuming in the day. whatever the patient given the feeding on the basis only Doctor prescribed I think the scientests may not discovered how much of food or drug consumed by the person now at a time .

Even admitted patients Dm or other diseases so much patients without Doctors notice eat some thing etc as prescribed by the Doctor it may good or bad for health .

So this is patients responsible to maintain the food and drug . If he his Bs normal in previous weeks then if informed Doctor definitely reduce the doses of insulin and drugs.

Most of persons Once go to Doctor may not go to without further problems noticed

The same opinion is already discussed from Mettu 77 one of the user name in this forum previous discussion. Now I want to clarify from pataliputra and Indiacratus what about their opinion.

Indiacratus was angry with me from some more days the reason I do not know . One thing is sure whatever discussion may be it is friendly i am not hate any one even those hate me If I am not interested I am simply leave that thread

I am a retired person Now i am working as honorary poor persons organisation and also I am given some donations also So I am left 3 or 4 blogs and groups also Now I am in only 2 groups

O k but clarify the liver dump is not only in early morning but also when the BS reduces to lower level ? The nature has given gift to fight until to survival at last moment ?

when the Bs goes below the normal value then this may happened at any time in the day ?

My opinion is too different i am not stick on any google searches or research papers . It was meant by some of the selected persons and result may be created as their want .

u are steady well in medical education . As per theory u are perfect But it depend

upon the individual personal body Most of the Doctors failure to found out the main reason the person suffered . this is not only for D M but also most of the diseases . that is most of persons blame the Doctors

In my opinion it may always possible when the BS spikes below the normal value Night body will rest so most of time there is no chances of coma . But in day time body not in rest so if Bs lower level then liver will definitely fight to rescue and release the insulin further also the person not to care the body then he may go to coma chances.

here technical medical word may be different but theory is same this is my personnel opinion Mostly coma peoples with serious condition admitted most of day time.

any further suggestion please be posted

MR Indiacratus and Pataliputra please posted your views and observation .

There may be difference opinion in most of discussions but treated as friendly

Decrease Ins- by two units Keep your BS above 100-125. You would adjust by -2 or = 2 you would feel fine
