Diabetic patients would be familiar with that horrible night cramps. They are sometime so bad that it destroys your sleep and you have no choice rather than taking a sedative. Any one has any better plan to stop these sleep enemies??

I will suggest that neurobion forte may be taken. It is probably due to deficiency of B1 B6 and B12

Night Cramps are very common in the night. Now if you consume little food in the Dinner.your digestion process will be proper.Take your meals(Dinner) at 8am.Go to sleep at 10pm.In between take antacid like Polychrol,Gelusil, etx etc etc.It is the bowel problem which creates the leg cramp, sometimes excessive gas in the stomach creates this cramp problem.Start the day with heavy B/F,Semi light Lunch,& very light dinner. No TV before sleep.Take Glyciphage 500SR,1 tab twice daily after meals.Take digestive liquids/tablets if needed and don't take fried item and chow min at all.Momo also.If there is constipation, take Triphala Tabs,3 at a time before bed time.Consume adequate water also.

What kind of cramps are u getting? I guess this is due to the medications that you are taking. Initially when I was on Metformin, sometimes I used to get stomach cramps /loose motion/ gas trouble.. Later these symptoms subsided as my body got accustomed to metformin..

Simple remady. I read somewhere on net given by a american doctor and tried and is successful. Take a glass of water hot or cold as per one's choice before going to bed. The onle problem may be urine, may be 1/2 times during night and this will stop cramps.I am 70 yrs old heart patient +2d +hyertention since 2003. I am talking of crems in legs . it is better to have urination then severe pain in legs. Pl try and tell us your experience in the forum.

Are there any side effects of neurobion forte? I am already taking surbex Z and evion daily because of my liver disease. So aren't these vitamins enough?

No ,the break was suggested just to let the body use the stored vitamins. No side effects. Pills suggested are cheapest whereas the tab/caps used by u are costly.Pl compare the contants not price

Excess of everything is bad. I suggest you take for 15 days only at a stretch and then discontinue are restart after break of some time. But do it after consulting your doctor.

Do not take drugs for any chronic disease.

LCHF + Excercise is a new ERA in medical science .

Please follow it strictly. your diet is main culprit .

your lifestyle is main culprit.

Life is full of struggle but if you make a good habit you will cope up with all the health problems.

Our body reflects what you eat.

If some one has cancer then you can go to Doctor for treatment. But in chronic diseases why to dependent on drug if you know you can change it by Diet-.

What type of cramps are you talking? muscular leg cramps or stomach? I agree with Anup, about the possibility of cramps. If leg cramps, I too experienced muscular leg cramps after taking simvastatin tablets for cholesterol. Before that, used to take lipitor for a long time and I had no issues with this med, but when it got expensive, my provider, in USA changed it to simvastatin. Within a week, I started experiencing excruciating muscular cramps on my left leg. My doctor had to change my medication back to lipitor.

This is due to deficiency of Calcium, Magnicium n Vitamine - D.

Just take some good organic CalMag D alongwith protien & multivitamine . You will be relieved of ur cramps.

In order to regain your health forget about costly / cheap supplements. Cheap supplements are nothing but eyewash. So plz use good quality supplements, if u can afford.

Plz remember, four pillors of life viz. Exercise, Positive thinking, Complete rest and Balanced diet. If diet is not balanced, take proper supplements for augmentation of your health.

Change in lifestyle is most important.

" Aging is a natural process , but healthy aging is our choice."

As u might be aware that when we consume allopathic medicines to control our health challanges some side effects also come along

For further quarry, if any, plz write on dvais1956@gmail.com

Diabetes causes Oxygen & Glucose shortage in all cells. This can cause muscle cramps.

If it is a stomach cramp it can be due to imbalance between food and Diabetic drug intakes. Take stomach-full of Long Wheat Mash or food made out of Long Wheat flour is very likely to solve the stomach cramp without adversly affecting blood sugar levels.
