Your HbA1c value of 5.6 looks good. But you mentioned once it showed as 6. Did you check in the same lab with same machine? Please check the values again. If the value is consistantly 6 and above then it means that there is some insulin resistance. Check with a doctor in that case.

It is quite good.Will be nice if you can manage at that level.Watch out for hypoglycemia if you are on diabetic medication,particularly insulin.Think of reducing medicine dosage rather than reducing the number further.

two years back i used to eat heavily ans spllep more than 12 hrs . my weight is 104 that time . now istopped eating rice and eating only oats and occationally non veg and some time rice was hand full. and started drinking water while wake up nearly 3 lts. make that was the reason it was controlled
