My friend detected D with a BS level of 450+. After medication for a month, his random blood sugar reading is coming 68. What does it mean?
Medicines prescribed is working. There is nothing to worry. Advise him to check sugar regularly.

He has taken the medicine after consulting reputed diabetologist but discontinue the medicines of his own after a month as his bsg numbers are well within the range even after discontinuation but now a days he is experiencing hypoglycemia. May be on secret medicines but not in my knowledge. He is not an alcoholic. Having good physique and lot of walking activities whole day. He has lost more than 10 kg within 6 months.
Thank you medfree, I will advise him to consult the diabetologist again and what tests he should first asked to diabetologist. As there are chances that he will inform the doctor that he has discontinued the medicines and doc will simply tell to continue the medicines and everything will be in order.
