The liquid stuff you mentioned have lots of useless calories.They spike the sugar levels immediately after consumption and then drop suddenly.Here we are dealing with mostly people who do not know how to hold their drinks. Moderation is not the name of the game in our society.

Very true, Venkataramana. This is how I have seen some people drink in Tamil Nadu. Fill the glass two thirds with whiskey. Then add a drop or two of water. Then down the entire contents in one gulp. Reach for some pickle to kill the obnoxious taste. Kudi !!!

You are misunderstanding .high cal doesnt mean high sugar spikes. Basically no carbs no sugar spike.so dont worry......

My own experience teaches me that a single- repeat single- drink of scotch in the evening helps next day's FBS. Of course I do practice moderation in drinking. In my drinking career (ha ha) spanning ovet the last four decades, I did not take the second drink and never ever the third.

ACCORDING TO MY EXPERIENCE WHENEVER I TAKE GOOD QUALITY OF SCOTCH MY FBS IS LOW OR NORMAL.
