What was the control that you practiced to bring down HbA1c? I understand that if anyone diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, it cannot be remedied, but only be controlled.

Rule of thumb: IF you maintain <5.7% for more than two months and peak/spikes are < 150, you may . . . other wise you perhaps are pre D

Watch out,it is too early to brand your self non diabetic.Wait for couple of years ,when effects of homeo and Ayurvedic medicine start to wean off. There may be rebound resurgence of high bs levels. If you were suffering from transient diabetes it will cure its elf with or without any medicine, so no worries.Otherwise your control is excellent.

You try unani medicine/ / humdard's capsule. Daily one

Age is also on your side, when small efforts yield better results. As time passes the same efforts will not yield similar results. More effort will be needed to be done. Sometimes due to multiple reasons one cannot/ does not follow some of the very interesting options shown by people who have an absolute control of their diabetes. Such people like me have to rely a lot on medications. Best Wishes to you for controlling your diabetes

Can you clarify whether you are using metamorphin along with Ayuvedic and Homeo treatment? I'm using Janumet 1000mg twice a day, my HbA1c is 5 - 5.5 last 2 years. Morever, FBS = 80; Random (taken around 6pm) = 120. I am not using any other medication. Of course with diet control, Yoga and evening walk for 40 minutes.

8.5 is high for your age but in UK for over 60 age group up to 8% is regarded as satisfactory.

BTW, first time I reversed diabetes in 2005. Second time, when I was 58 years old, I brought fasting to 70. HBA1C was 11.3%. Both times through diet and exercise. On Jan 11 I had HBA1C 11.6% but so fat it has just come down to 7.9%. Because, it has been slow this time, I monitor blood glucose up to ten times per 24 hour with a view to assess need for using something like Metformin...

The bad outcomes of diabetes (eye sight, nerves and nervous system, organ failure and leg amputation) have a 3% probability of occurrence till up to HBA1C 8% OR peak blood spikes of up to 200. On the other hand often those who take medicines graduate to insulin input stage within ten years. If I were you, I would target 5.7% through diet sand exercise...

You are diabetic. When your body required more insulin for repairing cells sugar level will go high.

Can u please suggest LCHF diet for vegitarians

Please bear in mind you are DM2 candidate. U r young and have controlled with diet and must have resorted to exercise. This regimen is difficult to be maintained. Even the doctors advised such patients to exercise, walk, restrict diet and the results are conspicuous in the beginning. Now it is a matter of time when u will have to take medicines. Keep a watch on B/S level. The disease being caused by mal-functioning of pancreas, is not treatable by to some extent and for some time. So best of luck.
