when did it start, after starting medicine metformin or insulin or the brown rice,Is it generalised itch or limited to some area.Is it associated with some eruption at the site of itch etc.Meanwhile consult your doctor immediately.

Elevated levels may not indicate liver damage ,so no need to worry.Hope there is no jaundice!

I also have the same problem. I done too many tests, there was no any problem just diabetic cause destroy cells under skin, which protect skin. This problem can be in some case of diabetics. Finally Dermatologist recommend me there can't help any medicine. Do morning & evening massage your skin with Coconut oil for two weeks after that every evening for all your life. To release itching temporary you con take a citrasine tab once a day.But if you don't massage your body by oil, destroy under skin cells will continue even if your BS is under control for long time. Use shampoo & soap for dry skin. Drink a lot of water regularly.

In diabetics fungal and other infections of skin do occur ,including skin of private parts in which presenting symptom is itching.that is why it was advised to contact treating physician.Blood sugar control is a must for any medicine to be effective quickly and completely. From your bs level it appears that diabetes not under control.Even your HbA1c is quite high.Change your diabetologist.

Very likely a hyperglycemic episode brought on when you forgot to take your antidiabetic meds. The following remedy helps to ameliorate the itching.

1. Put a tsp. of turmeric powder in a glass of warm water.

2. Stir well and until the stuff kind of dissolves in it.

3. Drink the turmeric 'tea'. If you're the religious type, offer it to the Divine Mother as turmeric is sacred to her.

Good luck!

Another possible reason for itching is candidiasis which is a very common health issue. Since they thrive on sugar/carbs/, diabetics are the fungus' favorite victims. There is plenty of good literature on this subject online. My advice - go to EarthClinic where there are lots of good, easy-to-follow tips and remedies: earthclinic.com/cures/candi...

If it is indeed candida infection, one of the smartest ways to keep it in check is the use of 100% gum turpentine, a very powerful remedy. You'll need to follow a strict protocol esp. with regard to dosing. EarthClinic is the same place to look for the literature, tips, etc.

Watch the many Youtube videos on the subject:
