Can any body suggest cause and/or remedy for puffiness of face and swelling of both legs in a diabetic?
I am on LCHF since last 7 months.Insulin last 25 yrs.+zomelis(metformin500+Vildaglyptin 50) ,glucobay50 for DM .Beteloc 50 and Telma A for bp.statin40 for my heart.No steroids.
All tests under the sun to ascertain kidney function is done.all are normal.
If BS levels are normal then I think one possibility could be combined side effect of drugs.
In case of some drugs interactions with each other are not fully known.
One more possibility could be severe vit. D deficiency.
No vit D difficiency.But first part of your observation ,it appears to be correct.Thanx.
Conduct kidney function tests. Diabetic nephropathy is suspected.
Consult a Nephrologist.

I have already replied that all kidney function tests are normal.
Drink lots of pure water, check kidney function and take medicine on Doctor's advise if necessary.
No problem with my kidney.

Thanx for good wishes.You are right that both leg /foot swelling and puffiness of face is due to retention of fluid.I have a good guess about the cause.
I am sorry but I am not in need of any food supplement.Never the less thanx for offering.
