Watched the video and could get the message, though I do not understand tamil. She showed some soaked grains. Fenugreek seeds,I think.Am I right?

That is the simple message.

I use just the grains (Fenugreek) , as the leave is not available in UK!!!

Have used the grains at least three times a week, it is bitter got used to the taste. I can get Fenugreek powder in UK.

I also use turmeric and cinnamon in porridge, ladies finger frozen, methi (Fenugreek) green leaves as well.

All the above are healthy food.

I tried to buy insulin plane tea bags, the cost of posting is £25.00, teas bags cost £7.00. !! , not value for money.

Fenugreek leaves can be grown easily in pots also. You soak the fenugreek seeds for 12 hrs and sprout it by keeping inside a clean porous wet cotton cloth for another 12 hours. You put these sprouts in the pots and sprinkle one layer some loose sand to cover the

seeds. Within 4,5 days, you can see small leaves coming up. These microgreens are highlydelicious and nutrition dense. You take out cut off roots, and mix the leaves with chappati dow and prepare chapatis

Some information on insulin plant:

defeatdiabetes.org/resource...

Hello, I have insulin plant at my home. It grows easily and spreads well, new shoots keep growing out of underground rhizome. With little care it will thrive well. I have used insulin plant leaves for their sugar-lowering properties. But then I have not taken medicines for diabetes. Effects are dramatic, in a matter of 3 days my blood sugar fell to 279(fasting) from 424! One has to taper and not stop all at once. At least that's what I did.

I have been looking into this insulin pant, it appears an article was published in a UK news paper back in 1998.

Twenty years on we still have problems in controlling type 2!!

Any way I have been able to buy insulin plant tea bags in UK.

Going to give it a try, my next blood test is in five months time for HbA1C.

May be an interesting blood test result!!!!

I have used insulin plant powder 2 years back for 2 years and it realy helps to reduce glucose level in the body and my sugar level used to be 80 to 90 fasting and 120 to 140 PP during the period of using. In my experience i have found that it controls sugar level but not effective to reduce glucose level permanently.Further i have noticed at least three to four times that after using insulin plant powder my creatinine level were increased to 1.8 and then i had stopped it 2years back. The increase in creatinine may be due to other factors(metformin tab also increases creatinine level to some extent and as soon as you stop metformin for atleast 20 days then creatinine level comes to normal(1.20)).So my advice to those diabetic persons is get checked creatinine level every 30 days after consuming insulin powder. You can google also check toxic effect of insulin powder. Sometimes you may feel weakness or giddiness while consuming insulin powder with metformin,so regular monitoring of glucose level by glucometer is advised. It is my personal experience and advise. If your creatinine level remains normal after consuming for a month then yo can use it.

Newton's third low!

How pure is the insulin powder? How pure is the tea?

I used to drink boiled Sri Lankan cinnamon, it did help to bring blood glucose down? Not a controlled experiment!!

There is insulin plant leaf, this is like any other green veg, may be can be cooked?

A lot to learn on the insulin plant!!
