I do brisk but comfortable walking for 40 minutes after a snack in the evening.I ensure that I experience elevated breathing and heart rates and come back to normalcy in about 5 minutes.Take some water before and after the walk.
i find when my stomach is empty i feel no problem in walking either in morning or in evening but if i had some snakes and some liquid like water i feel high heart beets and breathing problems.in wlking of 1/2 a mile.

It is advisable to walk at the interval of every 7 mins , take deep breaths for one mins after 7 mins and then continue .

I agree with Damyanti. The persons with high BP or any heart disease should avoid walking for at least 30-45 minutes after meals. It is said that during this period, the heart is already working for supplying blood for digestion of the food. This is the reason misraratnambar is facing breathing problem on walking after taking something.
Walking was suggested only after 45 minutes. Logically the suggestion seems to be sound to utilize the sugar absorbed in the system.But, how much it is practically possible to practice daily to be envisaged. I feel this is good one.

For the last number of years I used to take a litre of water on emplty stomach as soon as I wake up early morning and walk 5 kilometers. I do hope that the practice helps to control my sugar status.
