Hi and welcome to the group. Please feel free to continue posting postings/comments on other Member's comments/postings, taking the polls on the Polls section, asking questions and of course, meeting the rest of the group members.

To answer your question about the frequent urine, have you seen your doctor about the issue? What tests did you have done? When was your last appointment?

How long have you had the swelling of the legs?

Are you type 1, 2 or LADA (1.5)? What medications are you taking for blood sugar control? Are you counting carbs at each meal and'or snack? I've been type 1 since I was 2 weeks old as an infant. Being diabetic for 30+ years is sometimes still hard, but can be managed very carefully. I'm on two types of insulin each day and before bed. One's a fast acting and the other is a slow acting and is taken only at bed time. The fast acting insulin is done three times a day.

I hope this helps!

Post meal bood sugar reading as 107 is normal. But,if you want to know that whether you are a diabetic or not then you must go for OGTT.It is better to consult a doctor.

Syeda ! Your blood sugar appears to be normal. Frequent urination & swelling of legs may be due to some infection. Do not worry, take plenty of water without worrying about frequent urination. Do not leave at that, please consult a doctor. God willing, you will be fine.

Sorry. I beg to differ. She's just 17. Swellings don't occur so easily at this age. Frequent urination needs a medical assistance.

If she is thinking of D there must be some reason. Let her come up with her story.

Please tell us your story. Also where do you live?

Rauf Sahib !

I have not understood that you wish to differ; where as you have also suggested medical assistance & I also suggested to consult a doctor.

If her PP reading is 107, how can you suspect that she may be Diabetic ?

Well Sir! I am a proud Indian and am managing my Diabetes fairly well with inputs from sincere suggestions from friends on this blog.
