Taking a 15 minute walk after every meal can help control blood sugar levels and may even stave off type 2 diabetes.Waiting half an hour and then taking a 15 minute walk works but it must happen every day after every meal. Yes it helps. As our system gives priority to absorb sugar first from food we take..Any gulucose generated after meals in first half hour of meal can be used in the walk. The reason sugar controling pills are taken with meal only. The walk should be a slow one..Taking a glass of water after will help kidneys to extract it out from the system . Normaly a person is active after breakfast and lunch but generally tends to sleep after dinner. So dinner must be taken two hrs before sleep and a light stroll is must after dinner.
