Do you mean "blood sugar levels"?

Brisk walking for about 30 minutes daily is obligatory for a diabetic patient to prevent complications and to reduce blood sugar levels. Anaerobic exercises should be avoided.

Any exercise for about 40 to 60 minutes daily like walking or jogging.During the exercise,you should feel the increased breathing and heart rates and should never feel uncomfortable during the process.Few minutes of warming up and cooling down before and after the exercise is ideal.You should come back to full normalcy within about 5 minutes after the exercise.Even better options for exercise is playing tennis, or basket ball or swimming.The aim is to spend at least 300 cals during the exercise and also mentally relax during the process.

After 40 yrs it is not advisable to indulge in games or running. Brisk wakling is best for this age group. Doing exercise in a gym under a good trainer will be good, preferably in a gym specially meant for the diabetics.

brisk walking and Yogic postures like vajra asana; ,mandook asana;,hala asana ;yog kiriya and agnisar kiriya are effective for stimulation of Pancreas ,thus increasing insulin production by pancreas
