I have also read similar advise.But you have to walk on a lawn or similar surfaces like a beach.This is supposed stimulate the tissues of the feet like what our ancient ancestors experienced.
Wear shoes at all times to protect your feet from injury. Before you put them on, always check the inside of your shoes for stones, nails, or rough areas that may hurt your feet.
