A low carbohydrate high fat diet, along with 40 to 60mins of medium brisk walking (daily)should go along way in reducing your BS levels and imroving HbA1c. If you are over weight, as per the height weight norms try to reduce 10% in the first three months. Eat to satisfy hunger.. dont eat to fill the stomach. I have done all the above and hence I can "preach".
