Does anyone know the follow-on after a month of DHA @4g/day? Her video says go to citicholine but not how much or if it is in place of or in addition to DHA. Also, no end point, exit or maintenance strategy.
i began the DHA a few weeks ago, with great results, but want to learn her advice on the rest of the plan as i approach the ~1month on DHA.

12/22/24 (update)
my naturopath reached out to me and thought the idea of adding citicoline to the DHA was 'novel'.
he suggested 500mg bid(2/day) for 45 days. i began on 12/20 and found myself stumbling around, shaking, extremely weak and numb in feet and hands. did not recover until yesterday evening; ~30hrs later.
needless to say one dose is all i took.

Citicoline: "patients treated with citicoline experienced a significant worsening 45 days after the medication was discontinued". Updated. healthunlocked.com/cure-par...
I began with 350 mg once a day of cdp choline by Double Woods. My body automatically went longer periods without needing the next Levodopa dose. I reduced my dosage of Levodopa to a level that my body told me it needed. I've stayed at the 350 a day of cdp choline and not more than that has been required. Unlike Bolt and his comment above, I've not experienced a worsening of symptoms cutting back on Levodopa . I have run out of cdp choline and had to wait for the order to arrive, about a week, with no ill effects.
I have been taking fish oil for a long time, as part of my own protocol. When I heard about Dr. Mischely's recommendations I started choline right away. I really don't think there is any need to space the two out and I'm not sure why she recommends that. It was the choline that had the biggest impact on my parkinson's. Dyskinesia was immediately gone for me. and then Levodopa dosage started going down after that. I imagine it's different for everyone.
I only take 350 mg in the morning. We are all so different. citicoline releases epinephrine - which causes vasoconstriction. Not a huge problem for many people but I have severe raynauds disease and any more citicoline triggers the Raynauds. If I could, I would take one 350 in the morning and another later in the day.
Yes you could do without citicoline for a week without ill effects. However, according to my experience and that of others, stretch that out to six or seven weeks and the adverse effect of stopping is quite noticeable and extremely unpleasant.
I benefit so much from citicoline I see no reason to stop. If I do, then I do expect the dyskinesia to come back and my symptoms to worsen and my usage of Levodopa to increase. I was in an unpleasant state when I started with citicoline. From what I'm understanding from you, and what you wrote in the past, your condition worsened above and beyond anything you experienced prior to take citicoline.
I don't have tremors so can't speak to that. I'm a stiffer with dystonia, Levodopa-induced dyskinesia, slowness and rigidity. Hopefully someone with tremors can speak to that.
