Unfortunately all of these studies used pretreatment, which prevents the Parkinson's toxic cascade from even starting, and thus does not represent a valid test of Parkinson's disease modification.
I would not be so dismissive of phytic acid. Prevention of neurodegeneration clearly has the potential to slow the progress of PD. Of course, more research needs to be done to see if it works.
I am agnostic re phytic acid - not rejecting it as a possibility.
Pretreatment - Something as simple as a mere antioxidant can protect neurons in a pretreatment model. If that was all it took to recover from Parkinson's we would all be better by now. Pretreatment is not a valid way of testing efficacy in Parkinson's. There is no excuse for using this kind of model except as a way to demonstrate a seemingly successful test where otherwise there might have been failure.
I am not taking this, but I posted about it a year ago: healthunlocked.com/cure-par...
i've been taking ip6 since it was recommended by dr berg's YouTube channel...
But because i take about 40 supplements... I can't say if any 'one' (or any of them) is helping me.
I do several other things as well (O.M.A.D. diet for 311 days now).
My tremors (all internal) have been greatly REDUCED the last 30 days or so.
We'll see how long this lasts....
I took IP-6 and based on before and after hair analysis, it removed heavy metals from my body .
the ip6 i take is from Jarrow -- here's the amazon link and good luck!
