Ordinary B1?

Does HCL mean hydrochloric acid? I cannot find 'B1 with HCL on Amazon, so I bought 100 capsules of B1 thiamine without whatever hcl is. Someone enlighten me please.

There are different forms of thiamin. And yes it must be the hcl form. Vitacost vitamin B1 (as thiamin HCI) 500mg, easy swallow capsules. When it was sold on Amazon by a different company than Vitacost, 42$. From Vitacost.com the manufacturer, 29$.

I found it beneficial but the doctor recommends thiamin hcl

I always buy mine from Amazon. It’s by G&G. The label shows Vitamin B1 500MG on the front and mentions HCl in ingredients on the reverse. Green jar 90 capsules.

I get the Thiamine hcl B1 from Amazon, 500mg. I take 4 a day and most symptoms are diminishing. None are getting worse.
