I initially took allithiamine (100mg) daily for one month and felt like it helped me. I switched to injections of thiamine HCL which I have been doing for over a year now. About three months into injections I felt it was aggravating my dyskinesia so I stopped for a brief time while communicating with Dr. C. I tried the oral HCL but did not feel good on it so Dr. C said it was okay to take allithiamine again. I ended up going back to injections at a lower dose. All of this to say that Dr. C was not against allithiamine even if it was not his first choice.
What is your B1 injection dose nowadays? My husband is/was on a break (starting Monday again). He was having 100mg X 2 week. He believed his symptoms were flaring up. His next dose will AGAIN be 50mg X 2 week. He thinks that is the right dose for him, although his GJ consumption has minimized his symptoms, UNBELIEVABLE!
I take compounded injections with no preservatives. That's as "natural" as I can find. The allithiamine I took was the only one I found. I think the company is Ecologic Formulas and it can be purchased on Amazon.
Hi Juliegrace, I'm wondering how you are doing today and what you ended up doing with regards to the allithiamine. Also, I'm curious if you were taking the rest of the B-complex while you were taking the allithiamine? Thanks!
