Pentasa sun rash

My daughter has been taking Pentasa for a few weeks and it has been very effective. Last weekend she sat in the sun having coffee and the following day had an angry rash on her neck and forearms. (Unfortunately she lives in Cyprus )Her chemist has given her something like Piriton so she will wait and see. She sees her doctor next week.

Has anyone else had rash problems with Pantesa ? Thank you for any comments.

Rash is a known side effect, may or may not be related to her sitting in the sun.

Thank you bantam . Yes but strange it was on exposed skin. I hope she won’t have to stop the Pantesa as she was doing so well on it. We.’ll see next week I suppose. Thank you for your reply. I hope you are doing well ?

hi I have been taking pantasa for a while and had no experience if any rashes. This also has been very effective

Thank you Honey. She still has the rash but is trying another remedy. Hope Doctor will sort this out.
