Congestion

Hey guys I am hoping you may be able to shed some light on what my GP has said. He said the results of my flexible sigmoidoscopy showed that my colon was red and showed congestion. Biopsy showed inflammation. I am back for an urgent referral to GI doctor. In your experience what does congestion mean ( I googled it and scared myself).

Did you ask him? It's probably swelling due to inflammation.

I would take it as constipation maybe.
