Had an appointment finally with my primary and she was very gracious and understanding and even took a look at my poop pictures (yes I take pictures 😆)!

Brought up the name IBS and recommended fiber and going back gluten free and dairy free and two see her in two weeks.

Side note the last diarrhea episode I’ve had was the 11th. After said episode I completed an enema and all I’m going to say is that it both smelled horrific and felt horrific but I think it may have helped clear some things up. I’m not sure that she is going to send me to a gastroenterologist just yet and I’m not sure if I agree with this. I still have alot of abdominal pain off and on, way more so when it feels like my bowels are moving south (horrible stabbing cramping and nausea). Stools look solid, mucus often shown, some floaters, and very soft (it gets everywhere and I have to use wipes to clean myself up. food is also often shown.

Does this sound like ibs? I feel i may be getting brushed off again.

If you are passing unprocessed food, it certainly, doesn't sound "normal". I was told by an eminent gastroenterologist that if I feel pain then I need to know why, if I have unusual (for me) bm, then I need to know why, if I have anything that is not quite "normal (for me), then I need to know why. Once I know why, I can start to sort things out and get them all rectified.

Thank you FReedman, it sounds like you have a great doctor! I’m glad ye or she is looking put for you. I wish I did; a few of the doctors I see these days give me the feeling that I am being brushed aside and elaborate further as I’m sure you have experienced this in your past.

I was thinking about what you said and started looking online and found out that I can order the calprotectin stool test myself from what looks like a credible company. I hope this test will provide some insight and if not no harm done so we shall see!
