Can’t offer much apart from good wishes for your scope.

I find the psychological impact of chrons and waiting for results etc.. is just as difficult as the physical impact.

My 16-year-old with UC always has low hemoglobin and white/red blood cells. They are "stable" so we do not do much other than add in iron to her medicine regimine. Not sure if that is what you are talking about with "abdnormal" labs.

Yes, my hemogloblobib is always low (required transfusion) also my potassium, sodium and magnesnesium. I have been hospitalized several times because of this :(

We have been close to a transfusion but she rides the line. Iron has helped bring it around 10. Her potassium, sodium and magnesium have not been low that I remember. Though she was on flolic acid for a long time, as well. I have her take magnesium for the mental health benefits, as well. These diseases can cause mental stress, just as much as the physical stress.

Her doctor prescribed a very potent probiotic that was 900 billion active cultures but we could not afford it. I have her taking 100 billion now. A probiotic may help your "gut health" to allow of absorption of the deficient nutrients.

I do take a probiotic daily. I just had labs drawn today and am waiting for results, fingers crossed.
