Modulin

Has anyone else been put on a purely Modulin diet. Due to cancer I was taken off all immunosuppressants and have been struggling to get Crohns under control for about a year. Was given a MRI which is showing active disease so decision was made by MDT team to try me on this for 10 weeks. Today is first day its going to be a long 10 weeks but hoping it helps.

I tried it years ago but couldnt tolerate it as it was so sweet. Fingers crossed it works for you, IBD is bad enough without having to go through cancer as well. Can you not use biologics either?

All the biologics can cause cancer, have read up on it. Was on Vedolizumab, made me seriously ill and increased the crohns inflammation. Tried istukinumab which was working but oncology said it had to stop because of the cancer. Was very lucky had two lots of laser surgery on my epiglottis and they have removed all cancer but on 6 weekly checks. After first day this morning I have similar symptons to taking first dose of movieprep so not pleasant but have been in so much pain this past year so will give it my best shot. Am hoping it will give me a bit of energy...

Good luck, I hope it works for you. Probiotics and yogurt helps me. Not a cure but helps.
