Hi all, I had my gastroscopy last week but when I wake up after the anesthesia the doctor was gone.They give me some pictures and said to waiting biopsy. In the report said that all normal and I'm wondering if something is wrong did the doctor will write it down.Im in stress now what the pictures mean.I seeing some white stuff in the stomach.Does someone had this?

Hi, the nurse would of given you a written report showing if and where there was inflammation etc. Drs rarely tell the patient if they have had sedation or anaesthetic as they have a lot of pts to scope in a day so it is the nurse that goes through the report with the patient

Hi willow, they nurse give those pictures and on next page said all normal .Probably I sound crazy but I was wondering if the doctor suspect something is wrong has he will write down all normal?

Dr wont write normal if appearance isnt normal. Biopsies will look for abnormalities at a tissue level. Yellow secretions/stomach juices are normal
