I am having an MRI of the small bowel tomorrow morning can I eat food today I have been told that I cannot eat at all today any help would be appreciated

If the clinic told you not to eat anything then don’t, because they most likely want to see your bowels clearly without anything blocking them. Just in case you’re curious call the clinic and ask them if it’s ok to have a light snack.

Info leaflet so you can read up on it, you should have been given one from your hospital, if they have told you not to eat today then don't, every hospital will have their own way of doing things, good luck !

They will get you a jug of liquid to go through before the MRI, I found it made me go for a BM

Call the doctor for prep instructions. Their office should have given you any instruction for the bowel MRI. I have had MRI’s before of brain, back but not of my bowels that I recall so I don’t know what if you can or can’t eat. I would call the doctor’s office.
