I Shane, it won't be food related but sometimes you get arthritis with Crohn's disease. Do you have any other autoimmune diseases or just Crohn's? The reason I ask is people usually have at least 2!! I'm sorry to say.

It could be palindromic arthritis. I have ulcerative colitis and had a bout of arthritis which kept coming and going. In the end mine seemed to be a side effect of my medication (mesalazine) which I've since had to be taken off. Palindromic arthritis is rare but is an autoimmune condition and can co-occur with other autoimmune diseases such as crohns. Unfortunately once you have one autoimmune condition it raises your chances of having others. I would definitely mention it to your consultant and ask to be referred to a rheumatologist.

It's most likely from your Crohn's it's one of the symptoms.
