After blogging on Wednesday, and trying to convince myself that I ought to try harder and get back into doing some running, having not done much in the last 4 months and nothing at all for a month, I am now 2 runs nearer the end of c25k.....and a lot nearer the end than I could have ever thought. I was well prepared to start at week one and had even looked at my diary to see where I would be in 9 weeks time to do a Park Run, but due to not wearing my glasses when I ran on Wednesday, I did wk5 run 1. Today, I did run 2 of wk5 and was already looking forward to the next, when I realised it is the big jump to 20 minutes!!
Not sure if I am ready for the jump to 20 minutes just yet, but I now know that not managing a particular run is nothing to worry about. I will give it my best and if I end up repeating today, it won't be the end of the world.
So, if things go according to plan, I perhaps need to see what I am doing in 4-5 weeks time instead.

Feels good to be back 'on the wwagon' doesn't it??
Well done indeed for rejoining at week 5! That's great!! And you're right - just listen to your body and repeat today's run till you're happy to move on (bearing in mind that week 5 run 3 is the most daunting single run of the whole programme and no one EVER feels ready to takle that one!!)
I may even try to persuade my son to run with me.... That will mean however, me going outside and leaving the safety of the treadmill, and if he can bother to get out of bed when I want to go!
Great news that you have got back to running, that mental state should set you up nicely for W5R3. Good luck for your run and look forward to hearing your next blog x
