When could I start running every day?

I've been running since xmas and am now up to 9k -1 hour runs at weekend and running regularly 3 or 4 times a week. Sometimes I would like to run two days on the trot (e.g a Saturday and a Sunday) then maybe rest till Wednesday. When do people consider themselves ready to do this, rather than always sticking to at least one rest day in between runs?

Wow - that's amazing progress. Well done!

I guess the best idea is to listen to your body and, if it feels the right time to run every day, start to run every day. If it's too much, you can always back off a bit. But in my experience we can all do a lot more than we think. My gut feeling is that if you can run 9Km, you can do a lesser distance very day and do one long run at the weekend?

yes that's sensible. For example today my legs ache a bit after intervals yesterday so I wouldn't go out again today but usually after the easier runs I feel ok the next day....

A friend of mine used to run 20-30 mins everyday and then do a longer one at weekends or sometimes twice a week.
