On wk6 R1 today and as i don't look ahead and take the runs as they come I was kinda surprised to be dropping back from the high of WK5 R3 to shorter runs.boy was i glad, on first run was sluggish and on second a bit better then on 3rd quite comfortable so someone (not me) knows what they're talking about.

A lot of people have found week 6 runs 1 & 2 hard, it kind of brings you back down to earth after the high of Week 5 run 3. This program challenges you both mentally and physically.

Keep listening to Laura.

I don't think any of us are quite sure why the programme is shaped like this, and I know many many of us have struggled with this run after the high of the 20 minutes! However, it works and you will go on now to the longer runs - and then to graduation :) All the best with your running - let us know how it goes.
