It's my birthday a week on Saturday so I am planning on doing the Parkrun at Hove Park that morning. I am also planning on taking my 2 grandsprockets along for the ride. Literally, because they are 16 months and 21/4 years old, but only one at a time as I only have a single jogging buggy!
Today, as I had both my husband and the eldest grandsprocket at home with me we headed over to the park with the dog to make sure I could handle the buggy while running the minor ups and downs that Hove Park has to offer. I did the initial 1k(?) loop of the course very slowly, to be on the safe side, and even double checked that I'd be okay on the grass in case I need to give my knees a break on the day π€ I'm not sure how long it will take me - as despite putting my tracking app on, I then managed to pause it when putting it back in my pocket. I'm not looking to break any records though, just have a good time with the youngsters.
If anyone would like to help me celebrate my birthday by running their local Parkrun on the 29th, or just running a 5k on the day for the sheer fun of it that would be great! The more the merrier π
