As I'd done a Parkrun yesterday I went for a walk today scouting out a potentially longer running route for another time. Walked round Cammo Estate and then followed the path along the Almond. If you know Edinburgh at all it's on the NW of the city on the way to the Forth Bridge and under the flight path for planes on approach from the East. Tracked 7k in 1h10m on Endomondo. Quite hilly in places and a bit muddy so might be a fairly challenging run.
Highlights were a woodpecker heard but not seen in Cammo and 5 buzzards soaring over the Cramond Brig pub and a sparrowhawk scattering them.
